I started hour one with a set straight out of the Back To The Egg Hour Three Playbook: a 30-minute freeform set that took us on a long journey through turntablism, dark pop, japanese ambient, and more. The hour ended with an epic new jam from Thee Oh Sees.
If you've never been able to stay up to hear the final hour of the Back To The Egg, you probably owe it to yourself to hear this sneak peek!
This episode starts with Kid Koala's "Start Heeere's Koala" and ends with Throwing Muses' "Call Me" (for the harbinger of doom line "summer's gone / summer's over").
In between you'll hear a punk set with a handful of live DKs and some MDC tunes. I dedicated that set to Abeni Z who took care of my August shows while I was away.
Happy Fall to all late-night KBOO listeners.
