This episode of the food show is all about labor. We'll be talking with food system workers in fast food restaurants, grocery stores, and on the farm. Emmett Schlenz of the Burgerville Workers Union (BVWU) will talk about the fight for better wages and working conditions and forming the nation's first fast food restaurant union. David Adams and Isaac Byrd will give us updates on the New Seasons Workers United campaign to organize New Seasons stores. To end the show, Matt Gordon of Rogue Valley Farm Corps and Cully Neighborhood Farm will discuss working on farms and training the next generation of farmers.
