She is author of The Trouble with Unity: Latino Politics and the Creation of Identity, and she'll join us to discuss her latest book, Cruelty as Citizenship: How Migrant Suffering Sustains White Democracy. Then, we'll turn to Mark Rank, a Professor of Social Welfare at Washington University in St. Louis who is an expert on issues of inequality, poverty, and social justice.
