Dmae Roberts presents a preview of her memoir-in-progress, "Lady Buddha and the Temple of Ma."

Dmae Roberts presents a preview of her memoir-in-progress, Lady Buddha and the Temple of Ma, a multicultural memoir.  She reads an excerpt that answer the question often asked of Mixed Race people: "How did your parents meet?"

Dmae will be reading/performing another excerpt at Lewis and Clark for their Multicultural Symposium on November 11th at 7-8pm. It’s a free event part of “Mixed: The Politics of Hybrid Identities” symposium. Dmae's reading and performance will be at the Templeton Campus Center, Council Chamber.

Her writing this year has been supported in part by a literature project grant from the Regional Arts and Culture council.  If you have any feedback on the writing or thoughts you would like to share, please email me Stagenstudio @aol.com.
