Please join us for Transpositive on Tuesday, September 1st at 6pm on KBOO for an interview with Jackie Mae Stone. Jackie Stone is an advocate for the Transgender community and has served as the President of the Northwest Gender Alliance, Portland's oldest organization dedicated to serving as a supportive space for the Transgender+ community.

Jackie is "a public speaker and teacher for over 44 years, Jackie frequently gives trainings on what it means to be transgender, sharing her humorous, and at times painful experiences. She has taught at local universities, colleges, and high schools, as well many churches, federal agencies, and the local human resource managers association. . .Jackie was a founding organizer of the 2014 Portland Trans March and later of Greater Portland Trans Unity. Since 2013, the Northwest Gender Alliance has produced the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance event in Portland and Vancouver, Washington."*

Transpositive is a biweekly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non Binary and Gender Non-Conforming. Transpositive tries to connect listeners with the ongoing activist, arts, culture, and dialogue happening in Portland and beyond.Make your voice heard!Transpositive PDX is open to new and experienced programmers, guests and events you want our community to know about. We are an open collective. Anyone identify as trans, gender non-binary, gender fluid is welcome to be part of our collective after completing some basic free radio training.
