Interview with Jo Rae Perkins

Please join us this week on Prison Pipeline  for an equal time interview as we talk with Jo Rae Perkins, Republican candidate for US Senate about her positions on federal policy issues regarding incarceration and legislation as it applies to a wide range of justice issues including the police use of force, immigrant detention and the federal death penalty.  Two weeks ago we hosted Ibrahim Taher, the Green Party candidate for US Senate and in compliance with FCC rules we have invited the candidates for US Senate to the show.  This is in the spirit of the equal time provision of the FCC rules for television and radio broadcasters.

Prison Pipeline is a radio program dedicated to educating the public about the Oregon criminal justice system. Our goal is to present a unique understanding of the criminal justice system, address the root causes of crime, and challenge the status quo. We seek to promote awareness and activism in order to foster a safe, healthy, and just society.Tune in every Monday at 6:30 P.M. to hear our hosts Karen James, Adam Carpinelli, Amy Johnson, Emma Lugo and Doug McVay explore the Oregon justice system with a variety of guests.
