In Bolivia:  Indigenous protesters continue to take to the streets to protest the coup government, which has cracked down on protests with violent force, killing at least 32.

The legislature passed a bill that bans deposed President Evo Morales from running for election, as he remains in exile in Mexico.

It also removed the “Wiphala,” the flag representing indigenous people of Bolivia, from the capitol building.

Protesters carried the flag through the capital city and called for the resignation of the coup leader, Jeanine Áñez.

CodePink founder Medea Benjamin is in Bolivia, and spoke today with KBOO’s Jenka Soderberg.
