A court recently overturned Lincoln County’s “Freedom from Aerially-Sprayed Pesticides Ordinance,” ending a two-year ban on the practice.

The group Lincoln County Community Rights (LCCR), an intervening defendant in the case and a driving force in its initial passage in2017, says the fight is not yet over.

KBOO’s Althea Billings spoke with Maria Kraus, the secretary of LCCR, and Rio Davidson, an LCCR member about the history of the ordinance, its recent court loss and what comes next.
