On this very special episode of Mr. Jones's Neighborhood, we celebrate Portland's independent bookstores. In the age of Amazon, we are blessed to have so many. It's a big reason we're one of the most literate cities in the U.S., with one of the most talented and supportive literary communities.
We'll also be talking with David Koff of Portland's Fake Radio. David will be previewing their radio theater production of the classic noir The Maltese Falcon, live on-stage at The Old Church on Saturday, September 14th and the Vault Theater in Hillsboro on Sunday, September 15th.
It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
