A preview of several theatre offerings for the 10th anniversary of Portland's Fertile Ground Festival of New works

Host Joseph Gallivan features theatre productions in the 10th anniversary of Fertile Ground, Portland's largest city-wide Festival of New Works. Fertile Ground 2019 Festival Director Nicole Lane gives us an overview of the festival. She is joined by performing artists Bill Wadhams about his musical theatre work with playwright Sue Mach called Vortex 1, Samson Syharath, writer, actor and producer of MediaRites' Theatre Diaspora production of Here on this Bridge: The—Ism Project,  Aaron Wheeler-Kay of Essentials from  Echo Theater Company and Tempos Contemporary Circus and Jessica Wallenfels creator of The Undertaking at Many Hats Collaboration.  Fertile Ground runs Jan 24 – Feb 3, 2019.
