A special program honoring the volunteers, staff and board members from the early days of KBOO
Hear the voices of volunteers, staff and board members from the early days of KBOO as they discuss the beginnings of the station, the moves from one location to another, and the struggles and triumphs they experienced while keeping KBOO on the air. The program is hosted by former Station Manager Victoria Stoppiello. The first hour from 8-9PM focuses mainly on pre-recorded material. In the second hour, we'll talk with participants live in-studio or by phone. If you were part of the early days, please call in to 503 231-8187.
There will also be an informal reception/open house for all, but especially volunteers, staff and board members from the late '60s, early '70s and early '80s. The hours for the reception are 7-10PM.
