California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was scheduled to be in Portland today to help Republican Senator Gordon Smith raise money for his campaign – but apparently didn’t show up.
A number of local groups protested outside – including labor unions and fair trade advocates.
KBOO’s Chris Andreae was excluded from the Smith fundraising luncheon, but she did manage to talk with some of the protesters outside:
