Ani and Lyn have a fun and meaningful time with The Stop Shopping Choir

The Environmental Movement needs humor and music, and activists ready to risk arrest.

Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir brings all of that.  This band of Earth-Lovers sang at Standing Rock in North Dakota, in Ferguson, during the early days of black lives matter, in the crowded streets of the Woman's March in Wash, DC, and they dropped a knee and sang "Keep Your Eyes On the Prize" just a couple of week-ends ago in front of Trump Towers in NY.

This morning, The Stop Shopping Choir and their director Savitri, will be joining us in studio for music, conversation, and who knows what. It's going to be fun and deep, so tune in.

This Friday and Saturday, Oct.6 & 7th the Obie award winning artists and activists Reverend Billy and the Stop shopping Choir will be in Portland for two concerts at the Old Church, 1422SW 11th Ave.  Check out this link for ticket information.
