KBOO reporter Tom Flynn spoke with Cher Tso, who was speaking on behalf of an organization known as Shut Down Fossil Fuels. The group staged a demonstration in downtown Vancouver, Washington, on Monday to influence Governor Jay Inslee to reject the proposed Tesoro Savage oil transshipment port.  Police arrested two men who stepped onto the main rail line and blocked a train.  According to a rail spokesmen, they charged the two men with criminal trespassing and criminal conspiracy.
