Our names play an interesting role when it comes to our identity. On top of all the complex background behind a person's name, many AAPIs have the added layer of having both an "American name" and an "Asian name" that ultimately play a role in how we see ourselves and our identities. Some people love their name, others have complicated feelings about a significant part of our lives that is often chosen for us before we are even born. In this episode, we have two interviews that explore experience of changing one's name as an adult. Also, we threw on a bonus music track at the end. It's a song by Priska, Leo Xia, and rapper jason chu about our beloved AAPI savior... Matt Damon!
