Kristin Ohlson and John Roulac discuss the myriad benefits of soil carbon sequestration and regenerative agriculture

What does industrial agriculture have to do with the air that we breathe?  Plenty, according to author and environmentalist John Roulac. Stripping carbon from soil results in ocean acidification, which combined with runoff of aricultural pollutants, has contributed to a 40 percent reduction in oceanic plankton over a period of 60 years. Two thirds of our planetary oxygen comes from plankton. Roulac points out that recovery is possible: "The good news is that we can cool both the planet and the seawater, while removing excess carbon from the sea, through regenerative agriculture—a solution literally under our feet!"  Joining Roulac will be Kristin Ohlson, author of The Soil Will Save Us, and this recent article: This Kansas farmer fought a government program to keep his farm sustainable, and Jordan Fink of World Tree.
