Oregon's special election to replace David Wu for U.S. Congress, District 1 has produced three candidates for the Democratic primary, November 8th. Host Jamie Partridge interviews Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, State Senator Suzanne Bonamici, and State Representative Brad Witt about the major issues facing the working class and our labor movement.

I know both the Labor Commissioner Avakian and Senator Bonamici, I listened to the program but didnt' hear anything about how we can truly stabilize and move the economy forward which is to implement the Volcker Rules. This would stabilize the economy, and allow for financial institutions to loan money and extend credit to businesses and individuals.  Shame that none of the candidates really seem to have a plan to create jobs. Hopefully they will figure things out.
