Folk music is a-coming to your favorite radio station on Pastures of Plenty Wednesday, July 30th on KBOO 90.7 fm from 5:30 till 7:00 am. The title offering hope for the future comes from a Robin & Linda Williams album. I’m an optimist.
.
Let me mention a few of the musicians involved: Mary Flower, Kathy Kallick Band, Pat Donohue, Robin & Linda Williams, John Gorka, Judy Collins, a couple of 19th century Stephen Foster songs, The Weavers, Succotash, The Wailin’ Jennys, Tim M. Otto, Guy Davis, Eliza Gilkyson, The Limelighters, Forest Sun & Ingrid Serban, and many others, including my special guest Nat Cole singing "We Are Americans Too," a civil rights song he recorded in 1956. The show starts with Joni Mitchell’s "Chelsea Morning".
My name’s Will, and yes, I’m a name dropper! Please join me for early morning 5:30-7:00 am July 30th on KBOO radio 90.7 fm. Thanks for listening and for supporting community radio!
