Two Victorian Mysteries stories are featured tonight. First Katherine Dunn reads Edgar Allan Poe's The Murders In The Rue Morgue. Amatuer detective Dupin solves a grissly murder to clear an innocent man. Also, an episode of the long running radio series The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. In tonight's story Holmes and Watson are hired by an actor/producer who feels that his performance as Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is starting to drive him to actual murder.
