The president's COVID diagnosis last week spoiled his plans to unveil his new $37 crime prevention proposal. It turns out quaratine may have been the right move, because it's a stinker. Among other things, the proposal includes funds to hire another 100,000 new cops over the next decade. "You can't be pro-police and pro-insurrection," he tweeted this week, studiously ignoring the many law enforecement officers in the ranks of the Jan. 6 mob. Traci and Abe take your calls.
