On this episode of the Gap, Tammy and Althea start the show with a news roundup. We can really only hope to scratch the surface of everything that's going on right now, so we're starting with inflation. Gas prices are $5 a gallon now?! Yes it's bad but its not just because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. For two years the economy and the stock market have been pretty out of touch with reality, and high inflation is a product of that.

Then we talk about the Florida bill dubbed "Don't Say Gay." K-3rd grade teachers aren't allowed to mention or discuss sexual orientation or gender identity or they could face prosecution. Battling these out in the classroom with teachers and kids in the cross-hairs to score political points and very real political donations is abhorrent.

Finally, we open up the phone lines and ask our listeners, what makes you feel loved or appreciated? We get some great ideas about how to support our friends family and community members. Thank you to everyone who called!
