PROGRAM

5:30pm -welcoming Reception with refreshments/Latin food & !Cuba y Que! music. Health Care for All Oregon (HCAO) Photo Petition

6:15pm: Legislative Forum Theatre: theatre as politics created in 1992 by Augusto Boal inspired on Paulo Freire and his Pedagogy of the Oppressed. The community and members of audience become Spect-Actors changing the situations of oppression performance, and with the guidance of the Joker-Artist Sandra Hernandes, Ph.D.

8pm: Occupy Your Mind: a nationwide storytelling about Occupy One Year in connection with The Civilians, New York. The Community as Policymakers: Audience make policy proposals to address all issues that are preventing Equity in Oregon.
Collective Board : JoAnn Hardesty (Health Care Supporter), Liz Baxter (We Can Do Better), Dr. Peter Mahr (Physicians for a National Health Program), Shafia Monroe (International Center for Traditional Childbirth) and invited legislators deliberates Audiences’ proposals for policy changes

8:30pm: Evaluation – group photo – Health Care for All Oregon (HCAO) Photo Petition and survey
