KBOO's own Walt Curtis, one of the hosts of Talking Earth, needs your help and support. Walt is an amazing part of the KBOO Community and Portland, OR.
Walt lost nearly everything, including writings and artwork in a recent fire at the Great Northwest Bookstore in Lair Hill.
Many first came to know Walt from Gus Van Sant's movie "Mala Noche" which is based on a book written by the poet in 1977. Other's have gotten to known him through his show on KBOO, "Talking Earth" which is also hosted by another poet Barbara LaMorticella.
Currently Walt is homeless and needs the support of the community. A fund has been set up by a couple of his friends including Mark Woolley to help with his newfound expenses at Wells Fargo Bank. You can contribute to the "Walt Curtis Fund" at any Wells Fargo Branch or mail a check to the fund at:
