Severe weather emergency shelter is available in Portland  when the city declares a Severe Weather Notice, based on a temperature at 25 degrees Fahrenheit or below for several nights in a row. A list of severe weather emergency shelter providers has been posted at rosecityresource dot org. If you’re in the city you can also get more information by calling 211.

Tonight is the drop dead date for submissions to the Pacific Northwest Photography Viewing Drawers photo show organized by Blue Sky Center for the Photographic Arts. Any photographer who is a current resident of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, or Alaska is invited to submit work for consideration. Please provide exactly 10 images from a single series or body of work created within the last five years. If aSubmissions are being accepted via via callforentry dot org, and more information is available at blueskygallery dot org.
