My friend Denny and I went record shopping and I got a double album "The World of Ray Price" for a whopping $2.00. Ray Price kicked up as much musical turf as anybody. He was lionized as the savior of traditional country when it was starting to go pop and later villified for going mainstream. Agree with that or not, his warm baritone could bring down the roadhouse walls. Tune in Saturday from 6-9am west coast time for Ray Price, on vinyl no less.
