For the first Wednesday of Jazz Appreciation Month, Nick Gefroh brings you a 4-hour special!
The first hour will include a live interview with Ron Steen, one of Portland’s premiere jazz personalities and musicians. They’ll discuss jam sessions and the Portland jazz scene.
For the second hour, we’ll hear music and recorded interviews from Charlie Parker, Coleman Hawkins, and more!
The last two hours will be a bombastic overview of latin jazz and afro cuban music.
