Come help those DOING time PASS the time...  With BOOKS!!!  Every Wednesday evening, Portland Books To Prisoners has a Mailing Party to pack up and mail books to the incarcerated.  The weekly mailing is held in the garage at the end of the driveway at 1112 NE Morton, Btwn Ainsworth & Dekum, E. of MLK Blvd.  These books are sent to prisoners all across the country. We are always in need of new or used dictionaries and thesauruses.  For more information, please visit pdxbookstoprisoners.org

The Portland Central American Solidarity Committee meeting is tonight at 7pm at Liberty HallPCASC is a grassroots organization that strives to educate and mobilize community members, workers and students around struggles for human rights, social justice, and immigrant rights  throughout the Americas. Do you like to walk? Would you like some exercise during your lunch hour? Then, Take a Hike!
