A group of physicians dubbed the ‘Mad As Hell Doctors’ launched their 20-city tour of the United States today in Portland. They’re advocating for single-payer health insurance and they plan to hold events around the country, culminating with a rally in Washington DC on October first. The ‘Mad as Hell Doctors’ support the bill HR 676, which would provide a healthcare system of ‘medicare for all’.
KBOO Reporter David Rosenfeld was at their send-off rally this morning in downtown Portland, and filed this report.
