How to submit events to the KBOO Community Calendar

To submit an event to the calendar, your event must

  • Be free of charge or a benefit for a nonprofit organization (any other events that charge money are not eligible)
  • Not conflict with the values described in our programming charter.
  • Be submitted at least a week ahead of the event

If you do not have an account, click Create New Account under the Log In menu.

After your account is activated you will receive a notification and password via email.

  1. When you receive a confirmation and password, you can log in and submit a new event.
  2. Follow these directions carefully - incomplete events will be deleted.
  3. Log in
  4. Click Submit Event in the top left menu.
  5. Select the Day, Month, Year, start and end Time of your event.
  6. Enter the Title of the event and a Description, contact info, and address in the fields provided.
  7. Click Submit at the bottom of the page when you are finished.

Your event will be submitted to a moderated list. It will be reviewed and “published” in the calendar by the calendar moderator if it meets the above requirements.  All other events will be denied.

Please do include a phone number and email address in case the moderator needs to contact you if needed.
