This evening, People’s Co-op will host a class on Erotic Herbs and Fiery Foods. Guest herbalists will discuss natural aphrodisiacs -- including herbal concoctions, aromatherapy blends, and culinary delights -- drawing from both Classical Chinese and holistic Western theories. The workshop runs from 6:30 to 7:30 at People’s Co-op, located at 3029 SE 21st in Portland. ******************* 503-ORGANIC ******************* Also this evening in southeast Portland, the Community Music Center welcomes the Oregon Renaissance Band in concert at the Family Friday Concert Series. The Oregon Renaissance Band is a 10 to 14 member ensemble of accomplished musicians dedicated to performing and recording music of the Renaissance on faithful reproductions of historical instruments, many of which were built by the performers.
