Holiday Greetings from Begonia Studios!!  We began our traditional Holiday broadcast with Baby Blue, the encore of the second set of August 4th Cal Expo Sacramento that was started on my last show in November.  From there, we went back to 1964 in Palo Alto, California for two cuts from the Mother Mcree's Uptown Jug Champions, which were some of the founding members of the good ol' Grateful Dead. We heard a light hearted "Boo Break", which right away shows what kind of stage presence these guys have always had.  After that, we heard Memphis Tennessee.  After that, we heard a cut from Dan Hicks, and the Hot Licks live album "Alive And Lickin'".  The cut was "Payday Blues".  Next up was a cut from Jerry Garcia, and David Grisman live from the Warfield Theater in San Francisco on February 2nd, 1991, "Off To Sea Once More".

At this point, We played some cuts from Bob Weir and Rob Wasserman's "Happy Holidays" release, a collection of tunes put together as a gift for vearious friends, and etc. of Weir. It was recorded during the "Scaring The Children" era in December of 1991.

For the bulk of the program, We played a nice acoustic set from 12-26-69 in Dallas, Texas - S.M.U. McFarland Auditorium. (See below for Set list)

To finish off the show, We began a first set from The Berkeley Greek Theater in Berkeley, California. July 15th, 1984. We got the first two songs in; Dancin' In The Street > Bird Song.  I noticed a couple of digital disturbances in the two cuts, so on my next show, I will most likely play the two cuts again, as to keep the tapers happy.
