On Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 11.30am Joseph Gallivan interviews painter Arvie Smith about his current show "Tight Rope" at the Mark Woolley Gallery. Smith will talk about the imagery he uses to assess the African American experience, the interplay between painting and looking, and how his painting voice compares to his spoken voice.
