Wendy Webb interviews photographer Lauren Henkin about her new book, "Displaced." Lauren's work explores loss and renewal through experimenting with light and landscape in locations such as Nova Scotia.
"Displaced" is a handmade limited edition book.
Lauren Henkin also teaches workshops for artists on fundraising and marketing your work. She has a studio in North Portland on Mississippi Avenue.
Host Wendy Webb speaks with Nathan Sandberg, Portland glass artist. Aside from having his own studio, Sandberg also works in the Research and Education Department at Bullseye Glass Co. Bullseye Gallery presented a group exhibition of individual and collaborative works based on Italian author Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, on view August 4 through September 25, 2010.
