Tonight at 6 pm, head on over to the Hollywood Library, located at 4040 NE Tillamook Street in Portland for The Weaver’s View, an interactive presentation by internationally recognized weaver Pat Courtney Gold of the Wasco Tribe, in honor of American Indian Heritage Month.
Dmae Roberts talks with Marc Acito,Oregon Book award winning Author of "How I Paid for College" and also "Attack of the Theatre People" and Veteran Actress and Singer Susannah Mars who is starring in Acito's play "Holidazed" co-written by Cynthia Whitcomb. Acito and Mars will also talk about their careers and the many hats they wear as artists.
Host Nora Barrows Friedman speaks with Iraq and Afghanistan war resisters from the U.S. about their meetings with Israeli refuseniks about resistance to militarism. And 3 mayors from El Salvador’s F-M-L-N Party talk about the challenges in their country.
Dmae Roberts talks with Kimberly Brodkin, director of the 6th annual Ray Warren Multicultural Symposium at Lewis & Clark College, Nov. 11-13. This year the topic is "Mixed: The Politics of Hybrid Identities."
Dmae Roberts talks with longtime friend of the theatre scene...Sharon Whitney. She's joined by Janet Bradley of Tears of Joy Theatre to talk about the play "Rumplestiltskin." Sharon wrote the adaptation and talks about the process as well as her new projects.

Today from 10 am to 5 pm, visit the Portland Art Museum for the Joseph Park exhibit. There you can view six of the artist’s oil paintings inspired by film noir and animation.
