*Here's more information about our wonderful community partners:

Abbey Creek Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard on the slopes of the northwest hillside just beyond Portland’s
urban heart. Dr. Robert & Sandra Simmons planted the first vines in 1981  for farm deferral purposes. The fruits of their labor were sold to local wineries until 2006 when son in law Bertony Faustin had the crazy notion of keeping the fruit onsite and starting their own label. Born from Haitian immigrant parents and a transplanted New Yorker, proprietor Bertony Faustin has found not only his family, but his destiny in Oregon wine country. A physical trainer by trade, Bertony started his wine career like many, somewhat by accident. Noting his in-laws had a small vineyard, he began exploring the potential of making his own wine and gradually launched  Abbey Creek Vineyard. Always a student and innovator, Bertony dug in and learned a great deal  from neighbors and friends. Abbey Creek Vineyard grew enough in production to warrant it's own tasting room and winery so Bertony moved his operation into North Plains, Oregon. Today he is literally an earth to glass winemaker.  Abbey Creek Vineyard is all Bertony, all his personality, style and grace. Get to know him and you know his wine.  The first official Abbey Creek Vineyard label was released in 2008 and named as such after the creek that meanders throughout the 50 acre property. The 10 acres of vineyards consist mostly of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Gewurztraminer with a recent addition of Gamay Noir and Albarino.

Casa Tranquila is located one block from the beach, near central Bucerias. Bucerias is a quiet town in the Riviera Nayarit, an area so-named for its many miles of beautiful coastline. Nestled in the Bahia de Banderas, Bucerias is an ideal place to get away from it all.  You'll stay in one of 5 one-bedroom apartments, surrounding a central pool, tropical garden, and a common area where you can share stories with fellow travelers. See here for a video of Casa Tranquilia and Bucerias, Mexico

Willakenzie Estate is a family owned winery located in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The winery is named after the sedimentary soil on which the vines are planted to reflect the ultimate expression of “terroir”. After a successful career in high tech co-owner Bernard Lacroute decided to return to his Burgundian roots and purchased the 420 acre cattle farm in 1991. Planting started in 1992 and the first wine was made in 1995 in the newly built gravity winery. Ronni and Bernard decided to settle in Oregon because they believe that it is the best region in North America where Pinot Noir can be made in a style which parallels the great wines of Burgundy. They are strongly committed to wines which reflect the place on which the grapes are grown, sustainable farming, clean winemaking, small production of Vineyard Designated Pinots, respect of the environment and of the people who work in the vineyards and winery.  Though their lives have taken them in different directions Ronni and Bernard remain both business partners and friends, sharing the dream of making beautiful Pinots in Oregon and supporting the community in which they live.
